Meta Tags are one of the essential factors for Search Engine Optimization. Meta Tags tell Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. what your site is all about. Meta Tags are so important if you want to drive more traffic to your site. Meta tags allow search engines to index your web pages more accurately.


Meta Tags communicate with the search engines and tells more information about your site.




Here, I prepared a simple step-by-step guide on how to add meta tags to your blogger blogs:




1. Sign in to your blogger dashboard. click Design










2. Click Edit HTML








3. Now here's the code, you have to copy it and edit the words in red
    NOTE: Put commas to separate each word

<meta content='KEYWORDS HERE' name='keywords'/>
<meta content='AUTHOR NAME HERE' name='author'/>




4. Now, just copy the above code (your edited version), just after this [look at the code below]

5. NOTE: Don't forget to add the descriptions and keywords codes. Finally, save the changes.
